Agency Managers provide SCA childminders with consistent and regular support, including implementing the EYFS to fulfil their statutory requirements, planning and observations, monitoring visits and helping to get setting ready for their inspection. Agency Managers can also help with Early Years Funding and much more.

SCA also offer a Parent/Childminder Matching Service. Our Agency Managers support both parents/carers to find the most suitable setting for their children and as a result help to drive business for childminders.

SCA believe childminders are central to the Early Years sector in this country and we want them to be recognised as such. In order to offer the highest quality of care and early education to children, childminders need access to ongoing advice, support and training, whether it's by email, face-face or over the phone.

Quality Assurance Inspectors
SCA have their own friendly inspectors who are qualified Early Years teachers and Designated Safeguarding Leads. They all hold various qualifications regarding the childcare sector and keep up to date with current legislation. SCA inspections are graded the same as Ofsted and uses the current Education Inspection Framework (September 2019):

Outstanding – Grade 1          Good – Grade 2             Requires Improvement – Grade 3                Inadequate – Grade 4
