An Introduction to Childminding Events

Working in the childcare sector is incredibly rewarding.  It is a privilege to be an integral part of these young people’s lives.  The role of a childminder is also very flexible to work around your family as you can choose your own working hours

As a registered SCA childminder, you will be self-employed with the help of SCA accountant at hand with any question's, as a childminder you will be allocated an Agency Manager who will provide you with 'one to one' support from the start and on going throughout your childminding journey, Termly Support Groups with "Surgery Sue" previously an HMI Inspector with over 15 years experience and full of knowledge, telephone/email support with professional SCA staff at hand within the office with any big or little question you feel you need to ask! Yet alone our online SCA childminder closed chat group and online portal with toolkit for record keeping/forms, example policies, endless updated current legislation along with spreadsheet for accounts, grant funding, everything to get you started with your childminding business.
